Our Philosophy
Methodology
The West recognizes fives senses, but Buddhism identifies six - the mind itself is considered a sense organ. And the mind's sense objects include sensations, perceptions, feelings and volition. Since our reality exists solely in the senses, the addition of this sixth Buddhist sense opens doors to analyzing problems and negative attitudes, which can harm the immune system, leading eventually to ill-health and disease. This mind-body balance is the key to health, happiness and longevity - its result is the development of the "Jirung Traditional Triology".
This healthcare combines 3 applications: Western Alternative Medicine as a major science, Eastern Alternative Medicine, and Buddhist philosophy - a full dimension encompassing body, mind, and spirit, effected through six "Ayatana" or senses.
Jirung's Goals
We are committed to the following:
- Inform guests about health care based on Oriental wisdom, and permit them to experience the balanced mental attitudes that lead to happiness, fulfillment and immunity from illness.
- Offer treatments, nutrition, healthcare programs and activities designed to rejuvenate and restore healthy bodily functions.
- Offer simple practices that can be applied to clients' daily activities back home in order to perpetuate the benefits, and maintain balance in everyday work and social environments.
- Provide "personal coaching" suited to each person's needs, using effective programs and methods.
- Do all the above in a beautifully relaxed environment, and provide each guest with a memorable health-giving holiday experience.
