Retreat
Our mission and our reward lie in helping people to attain and maintain this essential equilibrium, and to achieve this, we add selected creative and recreational activities.
These activities form essential components of balanced health. They help to stimulate the mind, refresh the body, and as Buddhists believe, also enhance our karma. In the wonderfully tranquil and spacious 28 acres of Jirung we help you to fortify your inner self by practicing Lanna Tai Chi (forncheng) Thai Yoga (hermit exercises) Hatha Yoga, Vipassana meditation, Hermit's Reflexology, and Prana vital breath control training.
In addition, we encourage you to enjoy satisfying activities, such as the art of Thai handicrafts and flower decoration, health food cooking classes, outdoor swimming and Jacuzzi, invigorating walks, jogging and bike rides, herb and plant studies in our demonstration garden, and making merit by offering alms, and releasing captive birds and fish.
